Remegia “Remy” “Manang Remy” Cabalar Cacatian, 67, of Kurtistown died April 25 in Hilo. Born in Codoog, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, she was a member of the Hilo Iloko Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Friday (May 26) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Faye P. Cawagas, 67, of Honokaa died May 6 at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Ore. Born in Honolulu, she was a golf shop sales clerk at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and member of Honokaa United Methodist Church. Candido Mamuad Duldulao, 90, of Naalehu died April 1 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, he was a retired macadamia nut picker for MacFarms of Hawaii and former coffee farmer and rancher in the Philippines. Masako Ogata, 95, of Hilo died May 12 at home. Born in Kapoho, she was a homemaker, bookkeeper for her late husband’s business and their plant nursery, and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
